Di Nunzio srl was born from the brilliant intuition of the founder Matteo Di Nunzio who in a tiny place in the historic center of San Paolo di Civitate (Apulia – Italy) started processing dried fruit from the nearby Campania region to serve fragrant toasted hazelnuts and delicious sticks of traditional hazelnut nougat. The founder’s sons Michele and Mario inherit the knowledge and the commercial spirit of their father and in a few years, they transformed a local processing and sales business into one of the main Italian companies involved in the production, processing and marketing of dried legumes and dried fruit. Today alongside Michele and Mario Di Nunzio there are their respective sons Alessandro e Matteo, who, after university and professional experiences in Rome, Milan and London, decided to “return home” and bring the innovation and new business opportunities to the company.
Di Nunzio srl directly coordinates the production of dried legumes of around 50 farms in Apulia, all concentrated in particular in the upper part of “Tavoliere della Puglia” in the Daunia area and the Gargano area. The cleaning, stone removal, calibration, toasting and complete selection of the products is made directly by Di Nunzio company at its modern production complex covering 20.000 m2, of which 2.500 m2 are covered. Di Nunzio srl distributes its products throughout the national territory and some foreign countries. The company boasts consolidated commercial relationships with horticultural sorting centers, G.D.O. and selected retailers without intermediaries.
